Weasure and weisure

I came across an interesting word today: weisure.  It describes the rising phenomenon of mixing work and leisure – for example scanning emails on your blackberry while at the movies.  Although my initial reaction was that having this blurring makes it very difficult to actually turn “off” and recharge, two things occurred to me.  First, weisure can just as easily refer to the opposite situation – for example skyping with a friend while at work.  And second, for those who have job that is fully aligned with their passions, it may be quite difficult to say whether they are working or having fun.  In fact, this give rise to another word I am adding to my vocabulary: weasure (work + pleasure).

Weisure or weasure, make sure you have time to disconnect!
