This book is about a woman’s journey to find herself.

It is one of the most fascinating fiction novels I have ever read. The reason why I include it in this library is that it is a beautiful story about what living ‘north of neutral’ implies: striving to live a meaningful life, being true to yourself and let the ‘real you’ come through. Interestingly, it took me a while to understand that the author, Wally Lamb, is a man as he convincingly narrates this story in the ‘I’ form from the main female character’s perspective: Dolores Price. I love this book!
